The Spanish regulation adapted EU legislation on data protection with the passing of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data.
This Organic Law implies a set of obligations for any professional or company processing personal data in their daily operations. The Spanish Law on the Protection of Personal Data aims at safeguarding and protecting the privacy of the data that individuals provide when interacting with such professionals or companies.
The object of Law 15/1999 is governing and guaranteeing an adequate processing of personal data in order to safeguard the public freedoms and the fundamental rights of individuals. The regulation on data protection looks after ensuring that there is a legitimate ends and a responsible use of data, hence preventing its free circulation.
We hereby inform you that CREA Congresos SCCL., hereafter referred to as CREA, being responsible for the data collection files, observes the aforementioned regulation on the collection of personal data that are liable to processing, both for data included in a computerized database, known as automated files, as for paper-based data, known as manual or non-automated files.
All data compiled by CREA are processed in automated files owned by CREA and are only used to manage the requested services and to provide information about our activities.
Individuals are entitled the rights of access, amendment, cancellation or objection to their data by sending an e-mail to hola@creacongresos.com or a letter to CREA Congresos SCCL., C/ Ganduxer 5-15 local 18, 08021 Barcelona.
